Home alarm advice from AMCO!

So I've been writing tips about what to do with a home alarm for a while now. My latest but of advice is to make sure you get a monitored home alarm, rather than a standard "bells only" alarm. This is important as if you don't have monitoring, then it's likely that no one will react to your alarm when it goes off - which isn't great.

Here's a great story from the Daily Mail about an alarm going wrong!

Of course I'm going to fairly impartial as I work for the Alarm Monitoring Company that specialises in monitored alarms.

Other than that, then I'd recommend considering either wired or wireless systems as options. There's an interesting article here from the Guardian about alarm systems here.
